Kamiela Crombie has worked at Stellenbosch University for 25 years. With an unwavering passion for the arts, Kamiela joined the Department of Visual Arts in 2007. 

 

In 2011, Kamiela expanded her role in the arts as custodian of GALLERY Stellenbosch University (GUS). Kamiela is known for her commitment to fostering a vibrant and inclusive artistic community, promoting a cross-pollination of ideas and to showcase the transformative power of art. Her commitment to fostering artistic talent and promoting creativity has left an indelible mark at GUS, the Department of Visual Arts and its students.
