GUS is proud to present KNOOP.KNOT, a group exhibition by Louis Jansen van Vuuren and Friends, specially curated for the GUS Gallery in Stellenbosch as part of the ongoing support for students of the Department of Visual Arts at Stellenbosch University. 

Inspired by the simple knot, this group exhibition refers to the textile form of art that has been a fundamental part of human life since the beginning of civilization. This concept ties into many mediums; the idea of weaving, tying, knotting and creating connections. The works on display celebrates this and we hope that you are able to come and support this cause that not only gives artists a platform and means of exposure, but to raise funds for students who do not have the means to study within the fields of visual arts.
